Poor Ray.
View from bathroom, with the wall down it now looks into the office.

Original view from office looking towards bathroom.

The gutted area under the sky light was once jacuzzi land, but will now be reclaimed for the office.

Since we moved in I've been dreaming of the day I could rip up the carpeting covering a majority of the upstairs. The day came at last, I knelt down and clicked open my razor blade..

Under the carpet, a yellow speckled carpet pad I was afraid to touch and a layer of plywood, I found the houses original hardwood planks. After pulling out the nails, patching the holes and a good sanding they'll probably look pretty good. When stripped to their essence, the creaky and uneven floors transformed from annoying to positively charming.

More happy moments..toilet and sinks, thrown over bathroom balcony into dumpster below.

A Happy Moment

The death of the groovy jacuzzi and tiny shower, both burgundy, we inherited when we bought the house.

Speaking of pretty purple flowers, can you believe there are actually places in the world that looks like this? I guess I never thought about what a lavender field would look like.

More spring surprises in the backyard. Purple is a great color.

what are these, does anyone know? love em.

these i know, and there really is not better smell than lilacs.

Oh the Places you'll go

I guess I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today. Here's a little peek at all the apartments I've lived in.. dating all the way back to 2005! Ahh to be 20 again.

Manhattan's lovely East Village.
Some interior shots..Into my polaroids and that brown color.

A quiet residential street in Williamsburg Brooklyn

Into masking tape painting technique and glass block.

Into San Francisco bay windows, branches and wall decals.

Our present day little house in Buffalo.
Into actually having a house..with stairs and everything.
